About the issue: TANK first launched the Summer Books issue in 2015 in response to widespread consensus that print was dead. Eight years on, amid a boom in publishing, we’ve reimagined the Summer issue to understand where literature fits in an age of AI insurgence, paper scarcity and the decline of academia.
